How long does it take for a set of curtains to be made?
Depending on the availability of your choice of fabric and trim usually 4-6 weeks from prior installation of boards, tracks or pole.

Are you happy to work within a preset budget?
Yes, a guide price for a project is often useful. It enables us to show you a suitable level of fabrics and trims and suggest the most appropriate styles.

How much is the consultancy fee and is it refundable?
A non-refundable fee of £100 is generally charged depending on the size of project. The fee covers an initial home visit (1-2 hours), the selection of samples, the assembling of schemes and follow-up meetings.

Do I need to make an appointment?
For a design consultancy either at home or in the shop we would ask that you make an appointment. Please telephone 01732 455606 for further details.

Do you offer a complete track fitting and hanging service and is it available as a separate service?
Yes. Not only is this included as a normal part of our own curtain design and installation service but we are happy to assist quite separately where the need arises.

Will you make-up my own material?
No, we’re afraid not. Without having supplied the fabric we would have no recourse to the manufacturer should a problem occur during or after make-up.

Can I just buy fabrics, wallpaper and paints, and how quickly can they be delivered?
Yes, we’re happy to help with just one roll of paper or litre of paint if that’s all you need. Delivery is usually within 3-4 days although a quicker service is available. Please check when ordering.

Do you reupholster old sofas and chairs and if so how do I get a price quotation?
Yes, anything from dining room seat pads to complete three piece suites. Approximate measurements are normally sufficient for a labour and fabric quotation. If remedial work is required on the frame or innards the upholsterer can visit.

Can you supply children’s furniture and decorations?
Yes, we have a small range of children’s sofas and chairs as well as being able to offer children’s wallpapers, fabrics and coordinating paints.

Do you offer a painting and decorating service?
Not directly but we do hold the details of a number of trades-people whose work has been highly recommended to us, including decorators, paint effect specialists, carpenters and electricians.

Do you accept payment by credit and debit card?
Yes, MasterCard, Visa, Switch and most debit cards. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express.
