A specialist service

Built up over 10 years, the design and curtain making service remains the core of HJ Interiors business with its continuing growth built on client recommendations.

So why do we stand out in the crowd?

It starts with a thorough knowledge of our huge library of fabric and trim books, which range from trusted household names to some exiting new designers. If that’s not enough to fulfil a client’s requirements it extends into a wider awareness of each manufacturers’ range and capabilities.

Next is our ability to manipulate fabrics to create window treatments with a wow factor, whether they’re classically simple or stunningly opulent.

Lastly, the whole process of fabric choice and design, curtain make-up, track fitting and hanging is undertaken by a team of professionals whose sole aim is to deliver complete client satisfaction.

Blinds

Roman, Austrian, Venetian, London, roller, vertical, blackout, laminated, shaped, trimmed, lined, reverse-wound or spring-loaded - the choice seems endless, but we can help you choose exactly the right one.

Currently in fashion are roller blinds. New techniques in lamination now allow us to use fabrics as diverse as silks, voiles and chenilles, and in many cases without the roller showing. Come in and let us convert you.

Trims and tiebacks

The selection of the correct colour and style is vital to the overall look of your new curtains or blinds. Whilst trims should at the very least always complement the curtain fabric they also have the ability to lift a fabric to a higher level of vibrancy.

If the perfect match is proving elusive, the answer could be a colour matched handmade trim - this can be arranged.

Poles, Finials and Holdbacks

Curtain poles are now available in a huge range of finishes including glass, perspex, wrought iron, gunmetal and old favourites like stained and hand painted wood - there really is something to suit most tastes and budgets.

There are so many ways to personalise poles, from the finish of the brackets to the shape of the finials. Our superb range of complementary holdbacks can provide a great alternative to the traditional tassel or rope tieback.
